Arlington (band)
Arlington is an American alternative rock band formed in Southern California in 2016. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Tyler Benko, bass guitarist and vocalist Channing Peake, and percussionist Grant Whitson. The band signed to Rise Records, released their debut full-length studio album, ''Walk Through Jackson County'', on October 26, 2018. Formation Lifelong friends Tyler and Channing were both a part of the former Southern California band False Puppet. Following the group's disbandment, they reached out to Grant who tour managed them on Warped Tour and happened to also know how to play the drums. Production After just four shows, Rise Records obtained early demos, and promptly signed the band. They hit the studio with producer Matt Bayles to record ''A Walk Through Jackson County''. Alternative rock (also known as alternative music, alt-rock or simply alternative) is a category of rock music that evolved from the independent music underground of the 1970s. Alternative rock acts achieved mainstream success in the 1990s with the likes of the grunge subgenre in the United States, and the Britpop and shoegaze subgenres in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Rise Records
Rise Records is an American record label currently based in Beaverton, Oregon, mainly focusing on alternative rock, heavy metal, and punk rock music artists. History Rise was founded in 1991 by Craig Ericson in Nevada City, California. He released a small number of 7" records before putting the label on hiatus to attend college. Warped Tour
The Warped Tour is a Concert tour, touring Rock music, rock music festival that toured the United States and Canada each summer from 1995 until 2019, and returned in 2025 for its 30th anniversary. By 2015, Warped was the largest traveling music festival in the United States and the longest-running touring music festival in North America. Internationally, the festival stopped in Australia from 1998–2002 and again in 2013, as well as the United Kingdom in 2012 and 2015. Following the first Warped Tour, the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the festival's title sponsor, when it then became known as the Vans Warped Tour. Matt Bayles
Matt Bayles (; born October 19, 1972) is an American record producer, mixer, engineer, and musician, based in Seattle, Washington. Bayles is known for his work with bands such as The Classic Crime, Isis, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Botch, Mastodon, Minus the Bear, Burnt by the Sun, and Norma Jean and as the keyboardist for American indie rock band Minus the Bear. Early years Bayles' career began with interning in Nashville, Tennessee. Eventually moving on to engineering country demo sessions with session musician, Bayles learned the ropes of the recording studio. After deciding Nashville wasn't the place to land, Bayles moved to Seattle, Washington.
