Adam Arkin (born August 19, 1956) is an American actor and director. He is best known for playing the role of Aaron Shutt on ''Chicago Hope''. He has been nominated for numerous awards, including a Tony Award, Tony (Best Actor, 1991, ''I Hate Hamlet'') as well as three primetime Emmys, four SAG Awards (Ensemble, ''Chicago Hope''), and a DGA Award (''My Louisiana Sky''). Alan Wolf Arkin (March 26, 1934 – June 29, 2023) was an American actor, filmmaker and musician. In a career spanning seven decades, he received numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Tony Award as well as nominations for six Emmy Awards. Arkin performed in the sketch comedy group The Second City before acting on the Broadway stage, starring as David Kolowitz in the Joseph Stein play '' Enter Laughing'' in 1963, for which he won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play. Esther Arkin
Esther M. (Estie) Arkin (Hebrew: אסתר ארקין) is an Israeli–American mathematician and computer scientist whose research interests include operations research, computational geometry, combinatorial optimization, and the design and analysis of algorithms. She is a professor of applied mathematics and statistics at Stony Brook University. At Stony Brook, she also directs the undergraduate program in applied mathematics and statistics, and is an affiliated faculty member with the department of computer science. Fahrettin Cüreklibatır (7 September 1937 – 28 June 2022), better known by his stage name Cüneyt Arkın, was a Turkish film actor, director, producer and physician. Tanner Arkin (born July 7, 2003) is an American football tight end for the Illinois Fighting Illini of the Big Ten Conference. He previously played for the Colorado State Rams. Early life Arkin was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, but his family moved to Fort Collins, Colorado when he was a child. He began playing football at a young age and, as a freshman in high school, was named captain of his team. During his sophomore year, he began playing on varsity, primarily as an outside linebacker instead of his preferred position, tight end. Before his junior season, he sustained a broken collarbone which sidelined him for the season. Finally, during his senior season, Arkin sustained a broken fibula during his second game, but continued to play for the remainder of the season.
