Arjun Tulshiram Pawar
Arjun Tulshiram Pawar (also known as A. T. Pawar) was an Indian politician belonging to NCP. He was the minister of state for tribal welfare in the First Deshmukh ministry, cabinet of Vilasrao Deshmukh in the Maharashtra state government. He was elected from the Kalvan (Vidhan Sabha constituency), Kalvan constituency seven times and once from the Surgana constituency to the Maharashtra State Assembly. He died in 2017 due to prolonged illness. His daughter-in-law Bharati Pawar is former Minister of State, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. References

Maharashtra Legislative Assembly
The Maharashtra Legislative Assembly (ISO: ''Mahārāṣṭra Vidhāna Sabhā'') is the lower house of the bicameral legislature of Maharashtra state in western India. It consists of 288 members directly elected from single-seat constituencies. The Assembly meets at Vidhan Bhavan in Mumbai, though the winter session is held in Nagpur. Along with the Maharashtra Legislative Council, it comprises the legislature of Maharashtra. The presiding officer of the Assembly is the Speaker. Members of the Assembly are directly elected by the people of Maharashtra through elections held every five years, unless the Assembly is dissolved earlier.
