Isahaya
is a city located in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. As of June 1, 2024, the city had an estimated population of 131,467 in 55169 households, and a population density of 380 people per km2. The total area of the city is Geography Located in the central part of Nagasaki Prefecture, Isahaya is surrounded by the ocean on three sides and the Tara mounts to the north. To the west is the base of the Nagasaki Peninsula and to the south is the base of Shimabara Peninsula. The 2014 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 22nd edition of the annual women's international volleyball tournament played by 28 countries from 25 July to 24 August 2014. The is the national premier sports event of Japan. It consists of three stages. The skating and ice hockey stage takes place in January, the skiing stage takes place in February, and the main Autumn tournament takes place in September and October.
