Aris Limassol
Aris Limassol (Greek: ''Άρης Λεμεσού'') is a professional Cypriot football club based in Limassol and one of the founder members of Cyprus Football Association. The club's colours are green, black and white, and their home is the Alphamega Stadium. Founded in 1930, Aris Limassol is one of the most historic football clubs of Limassol. The club also maintains teams in other sports including basketball, table tennis and chess. The Aris chess team dominated Cypriot chess in the 1980s. History One of the founder members of the Cyprus Football Association, Aris competed in the first five seasons of the Cypriot First Division, with their league placement ranging from 5th to 7th. Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Kokorin (''né'' Kartashov; , ; born 19 March 1991) is a Russian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Cypriot First Division club Aris Limassol. Kokorin had his breakthrough season in 2012–13, which led to Dynamo Moscow inserting a €19 million release clause into his contract. A full international since 2011, Kokorin has gained over 45 caps and was named in the Russian squads for Euro 2012, 2014 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2016. Veljko Nikolić ( sr-cyr, Вељко Николић; born 29 August 1999) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Aris Limassol. Club career OFK Beograd Veljko started playing football with football school "Arena" and later moved to OFK Beograd, where he passed all youth categories. Connor Lambert Goldson (born 18 December 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays for Aris Limassol. His preferred position is at centre-back, although he has also been utilised at right-back, and as a central midfielder. Giorgi Kvilitaia () ( ka, გიორგი ქვილითაია, tr, , born 1 October 1993) is a Georgian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Cypriot First Division club Aris Limassol and the Georgia national team.
