Aril (entertainer)
Khairil Azam bin Pilus (born 15 November 1985), better known by his stage name Aril, is a Malaysian singer, actor, dancer and TV host, also known by his stage name of Aril. Aril is the younger brother of late fellow artist Izwan Pilus. Career Aril had hosted some tv program long before he drafted to AF. It was when he little bit known as Ajam Pilus. Later he appeared in Gangstarz 2007 (vocal group talent search) as member of First Edition. He also featured in Xpose- the program had broadcast in Astro Prima about current trend. Aril was interviewed in episode that revealing the rising trend of shuffle dance of that period. Akademi Fantasia Aril joined and became 1st runner-up of the seventh season of ''Akademi Fantasia'', receiving 22% percent of over 4.2 million votes although he was eliminated on the 7th week of the competition, but he was voted back-in by the competition by 'AFMASUK' of the voters, and won the 2nd place in the season 7 final round in May 2009. Padi (band)
Padi (Indonesian for ''Oryza sativa'') is an Indonesian rock band. It is formed in 1996 with their early name Soda. When the band formed on April 8, 1997 through the rename from Soda to Padi, all of its members were still studying at Airlangga University, Surabaya, Indonesia. The band consists of Satrio Yudi Wahono better known as "Piyu" (lead guitar, backing vocals), Andi Fadly Arifuddin (lead vocals), Ari Tri Sosianto (guitar, backing vocals), Rindra Risyanto Noor (bass), and Surendro Prasetyo better known as "Yoyo" (drums). Their second album, Sesuatu Yang Tertunda (2001), recorded one of the highest domestic sales of music records in Indonesia by selling approximately 2 million copies, with 450,000 copies of which sold in just 2 weeks. Padi has sold approximately 4 million albums in Indonesia only, as of 2012. The ''New Straits Times'' is an English-language newspaper published in Malaysia. It is Malaysia's oldest newspaper still in print (though not the first), having been founded as ''The Straits Times'' on 15 July 1845. It was relaunched as the ''New Straits Times'' on 13 August 1974. The paper served as Malaysia's only broadsheet format English-language newspaper. Maya HD
Astro Maya HD was a channel on Malaysia's satellite television Astro and began broadcasting on 24 June 2013, the second Malay high-definition channel launched by Astro after Astro Mustika HD. When it was launched, it broadcast content from five of Astro's Malay channels such as Astro Ria, Astro Prima, Astro Oasis, Astro Ceria and Astro TVIQ. The content of Astro Ria were moved to its own HD channel when it began broadcasting on 29 May 2015. On the same day, NJOI customers are able to watch Maya HD in conjunction of 1 million customers celebration. Maya HD continued to broadcast content from Astro Prima and Astro Oasis until both channels has their HD counterparts launched at morning on 14 January 2019. As a result of this, Maya HD stopped broadcasting on Astro Malaysia at midnight and ceased transmission at 6 AM the next day.
