Ariel Rauschenberger
Ariel Rauschenberger (born 26 April 1966) is an Argentine politician who serves as a National Deputy elected La Pampa since 2023, having previously held the position from 2017 to 2021. He belongs to the Justicialist Party. Rauschenberger served in a number of posts in the provincial government of La Pampa, including as Treasurer General from 1991 to 1991, Minister of Treasury and Finances from 2007 to 2011 and Minister of Government Coordination from 2012 to 2015. He was also a member of the provincial Chamber of Deputies from 2015 to 2017. Early and personal life Rauschenberger was born on 26 April 1966 in Bernasconi, a small town in the Hucal Department of La Pampa Province. His father, a member of the Justicialist Party, served as ''intendente'' (mayor) of Bernasconi. Rauschenberger studied accountancy at the National University of La Pampa, graduating in 1991. The Chamber of Deputies (), officially the Honorable Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, is the lower house of the Argentine National Congress (). It is made up of 257 national deputies who are elected in multi-member constituencies corresponding with the territories of the 23 provinces of Argentina (plus the Federal Capital) by party list proportional representation. Elections to the Chamber are held every two years, so that half of its members are up in each election, making it a rare example of staggered elections used in a lower house. Melina Aída Delú (born 18 June 1976) is an Argentine politician who served as a National Deputy elected in La Pampa from 2017 to 2021. A member of the Justicialist Party, Delú sat in the Frente de Todos parliamentary bloc from 2019 to 2021. Delú previously worked in Provincial Housing Institute of La Pampa, from 2007 to 2017. 2021 Argentine Legislative Election
Legislative elections were held in Argentina on 14 November 2021. Half of the seats in the Chamber of Deputies and a third of the seats in the Senate were renewed. The election had previously been scheduled to take place on 24 October 2021, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Argentina. Open, Simultaneous and Mandatory Primaries (PASO) were previously scheduled to take place on 8 August 2021, but took place on 12 September 2021, having also been postponed due to COVID-19. There were proposals, backed by the ruling Frente de Todos, to scrap the primaries altogether due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The proposals were opposed by the Juntos por el Cambio opposition.
