Ariel Galeano
Ariel Sebastián Galeano Arce (born 7 September 1996) is a Paraguayan professional Association football, football Manager (association football), manager who was most recently in charge of Polish club ŁKS Łódź. Career Galeano worked as an assistant at Club Sol de América, Sol de América, Sportivo Trinidense, Deportivo Liberación and Club River Plate (Asunción), River Plate Asunción. On 9 June 2019, he replaced Ricardo Torressi at the helm of Club Fulgencio Yegros, Fulgencio Yegros. In September 2019, Galeano was sacked by Fulgencio, and subsequently returned to an assistant role at River Plate. On 7 December 2020, he was named caretaker manager of the latter side for the remainder of the year, replacing Carlos Aitor García. On 6 December 2020, Galeano agreed to become the manager of Club 2 de Mayo, 2 de Mayo for the upcoming season. He was dismissed on 26 May, after nine matches. Asunción

2023 Copa Paraguay
The 2023 Copa Paraguay was the fifth edition of the Copa Paraguay, Paraguay's domestic football cup competition organized by the Paraguayan Football Association (APF). The competition began on 18 April and ended on 2 December 2023, with the winners qualifying for the 2023 Supercopa Paraguay against the Primera División champions with better record in the aggregate table. Libertad were the champions, claiming their second Copa Paraguay title by beating Sportivo Trinidense on penalty kicks after a 1–1 draw in the final. As winners, Libertad were entitled to earn a berth into the 2024 Copa Libertadores, however since both finalists qualified for that competition via league performance, that berth was awarded to the third-placed team, Nacional. Copa Paraguay
The Copa Paraguay is a knockout football competition in men's domestic Paraguayan football, starting in 2018 and succeeding the defunct Torneo República. The project for its creation was officially presented in December 2017 and approved by the Paraguayan Football Association's Executive Committee on 20 February 2018. The competition starts in April and ends in November, with the winner of the cup qualifying for the following year's Copa Libertadores ( Copa Sudamericana until the 2022 edition). If the cup winner has already qualified for South American competitions through the league, then the cup runner-up (or the third-placed team) will qualify. If the top three teams have all already qualified for South American competitions through the league, then the best-placed team in the Paraguayan Primera División that has not yet qualified for an international competition will qualify for the Copa Sudamericana.
