ArieScope Pictures is a film and television production company based in Los Angeles and founded in 1998 by Adam Green, Will Barrat, and Cory Neal. The studio focuses on horror and comedy productions, as the Hatchet's series, ''Frozen'' (2010) and the Fearnet TV sit-com '' Holliston''. History Adam Green met Will Barrat when he was working for a local cable advertising company in the Boston area. They borrowed equipment from the advertising company for starting ArieScope Pictures. The first film produced by Green and Barrat was a parody of ''Friday the 13th'' and ''Halloween'' called ''Columbus Day Weekend''. A major talent agency requested Adam Green a feature. Adam Green (filmmaker)
Adam Green (born March 31, 1975) is an American actor, filmmaker and musician, best known for his work in horror and comedy films, including the ''Hatchet'' franchise, 2010's '' Frozen'', and the television series ''Holliston''. Originating from Holliston, Massachusetts, Green earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Television and Film production at Hofstra University and founded ArieScope Pictures with fellow filmmaker Will Barratt in 1998. Green was also the lead singer for the hard rock and metal band "Haddonfield". Background Green was born and raised in Holliston, Massachusetts. Will Barratt
William Barratt is an American cinematographer and producer best known for his work on the films of the Adam Green. He went to college at the University of Massachusetts and later attended the International Film and Television Workshop. Barratt was nominated for the 2014 BloodGuts UK Horror award for ''Digging Up the Marrow''. In 2015 he won the Best Cinematography from the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival for his work on the short film ''Boudoir''. ArieScope Barratt is the cofounder of ArieScope Pictures. He founded the company in 1998 with Adam Green and Cory Neal. He and Green would make their first movie, ''Coffee & Donuts'', the same year using borrowed camera equipment from their day job. Paul Solet (born June 13, 1979) is an American film director, film producer, writer and actor. Early life Paul Solet was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and attended Cambridge Rindge and Latin School class of 1998. Solet attended Emerson College and received a BA in Film and Psychology in 2002 as well as a screenwriting certificate in 2003.
