The woman follows Mi heun(the wife) into another room and hits her in the head with a blunt object. Mi heun falls down and her head starts bleeding. Byun Young-joo
Byun Young-joo (; born December 20, 1966) is a South Korean film and television director. Her films explore issues of women's rights and human rights. Career Byun Young-joo graduated with a law degree from Ewha Womans University and did her graduate studies at the Department of Theater and Film at Chung-Ang University. She is a founding member of the women's feminist film collective "Bariteo," which was established in 1989. She worked as a cinematographer on ''Even Little Grass Has Its Own Name'' (Kim So-young, 1989), a short film about gender discrimination at work, and ''My Children'' (Doe Sung-hee, 1990), a documentary film about childcare in a poor neighborhood. Cinema Service () was a South Korean film production and distribution company. History The company was founded in 1993 by film director Kang Woo-suk as "Kang Woo-suk Productions", before taking the name Cinema Service in 1995. It survived during the Asian financial crisis and was in position to take advantage of the popularity boom of Korean cinema, becoming a major player in the East Asian film industry. In 2000, Cinema Service merged with Locus Holdings (later Plenus Entertainment).
