Cape Girardeau County (commonly called Cape County) is located in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Missouri; its eastern border is formed by the Mississippi River. Overview There is no sustained industry in the town or near surrounding area. Agriculture, although small, is the most viable local source of income. Route 25 is a highway in south-eastern Missouri. Its northern terminus is at Business Interstate 55/U.S. Route 61/ Route 34/ Route72 in Jackson. Its southern terminus is at U.S. Route 412/ Route 84 in Kennett. It is one of the major Missouri highways that traverses the Missouri Bootheel.
