Renato Peres Barrio (born March 5, 1965), better known by his stage name Renato Pelado, is a Brazilian drummer and DJ best known for being a founding member of the famous alternative rock band Charlie Brown Jr. and for his brief passage in the influential black/death metal group Vulcano. Biography Renato Peres Barrio was born in Santos, São Paulo on March 5, 1965. He learned how to play the drums inspired by one of his greatest idols, Neil Peart, and began his musical career in 1980, subsequently playing in hardcore punk band Last Joker, where he met his future Charlie Brown Jr. bandmate Marcão. For a brief time in 1984 he was a member of Vulcano, taking part in the recording of their demo tape ''Devil on My Roof''. Thiago Raphael Castanho (born February 8, 1975) is a Brazilian guitarist, record producer, painter and sculptor, best known for being a founding member of alternative rock bands Charlie Brown Jr., Aliados, A Banca and O Legado, and for his subsequent work with Ira! and Capital Inicial. Luiz Carlos Leão Duarte Júnior (June 16, 1978 – September 9, 2013), better known by his stage name Champignon and also referred to affectionately as Champ or Champs by fans, was a Brazilian singer-songwriter, lyricist, bassist, beatboxer, record label owner and drummer famous for his work with bands Charlie Brown Jr., Revolucionnários, Nove Mil Anjos and A Banca. Zóio De Lula
"Zóio de Lula" ( Portuguese for "''Squid Eyes''"), also stylized as "Zóio D Lula", is a single by Brazilian alternative rock band Charlie Brown Jr. Written by vocalist Chorão (who also drew the cover) alongside his bandmates Champignon and Renato Pelado, it was released on April 1, 1999 as the first single of their second studio album, '' Preço Curto... Prazo Longo'', even though it previously appeared on the teaser EP '' Aquele Luxo!''. It was the first song by the band to reach first place in Brazilian radios at the time, and a music video counting with a guest appearance by model and actress Luize Altenhofen was made; filmed at the beach of Maresias, it won the MTV Video Music Award for International Viewer's Choice in 1999. The video's director, Johnny Araújo, would become a frequent collaborator of the band, and also direct the 2007 film ', written and co-produced by Chorão. Alexandre Magno Abrão (9 April 1970 – 6 March 2013), known professionally as Chorão, was a Brazilian singer-songwriter, skateboarder, filmmaker, screenwriter and businessman.
