The Apuseni Natural Park ( ro, Parcul Natural Apuseni) is a protected area ( natural park category V IUCN) situated in Romania, in the administrative territory of counties Alba, Bihor and Cluj. Location The Natural Park is located in western Romania in the central-northern side of the Apuseni Mountains, comprising a part of the Bihor Mountains at south and Vlădeasa Mountains at north. Bear Cave
Bears' Cave ( ro, Peștera Urșilor) is located in the western Apuseni Mountains, on the outskirts of Chișcău village, Bihor County, northwestern Romania. It was discovered in 1975 by Speodava, an amateur spelaeologist group. Bears' Cave received its name after the 140 cave bear skeletons which were discovered on the site in 1983.
