Bistrița-Năsăud County
Bistrița-Năsăud () is a county (județ) of Romania, in Transylvania, with its capital city at Bistrița. Name In Hungarian language, Hungarian, it is known as ''Beszterce-Naszód megye'', and in German language, German as ''Kreis Bistritz-Nassod''. The name is identical with the county created in 1876, Beszterce-Naszód County () in the Kingdom of Hungary (the county was recreated in 1940 after the Second Vienna Award, as it became part of Hungary again until 1944). Chiochiș () is a commune in Bistrița-Năsăud County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of ten villages: Apatiu (''Dellőapáti''), Bozieș (''Magyarborzás''), Buza Cătun (''Buzaifogadók''), Chețiu (''Ketel''), Chiochiș, Jimbor (''Szászzsombor''; ), Manic (''Mányik''), Sânnicoară (''Aranyosszentmiklós''), Strugureni (''Mezőveresegyháza''; ''Rothkirch''), and Țentea (''Cente''). Geography The commune lies on the Transylvanian Plateau, on the banks of the river Apatiu and its tributary, the river Beudiu. It is composed of seven villages: Beudiu (''Bőd''), Dumbrava (''Nyírmezőtanya''), Feleac (''Fellak''), Malin (''Almásmálom''), Nușeni, Rusu de Sus (''Felsőoroszfalu''), and Vița (''Vice'').
