Aparichita (1969 Film)
''Aparichita'' is a Bengali multi-starrer drama film directed by Salil Dutta based on a novel of Samaresh Basu actually inspired by The Idiot of Fyodor Dostoyevsky. It was released on 5 December 1969 under the banner of R.D. Productions. Uttam Kumar-Aparna Sen pair first appeared in this film. Plot Politician Priyanath forces Sunita for prostitution. She is abducted by the gangster Ranjan but latter involves and falls in love with Sujit. Sujit, just recovered from mental breakdown also involves with Sunita. While Sunita is going to marry Sujit, Ranjan kills Sunita. Bikash Roy (16 May 1916 – 16 April 1987) was an Indian actor and filmmaker who is known for his work in Bengali cinema. He is well known for his character roles and for his own style of acting in Bengali films from the late 1940s until the mid-1980s. Early life and education He was born in Kolkata, but his ancestral home was Madanpur, Nadia, West Bengal, India. Madanpur in the Nadia district. Haradhan Bandopadhyay (6 November 1926 – 5 January 2013) was a Bengali Indian male actor of television and films. He made his debut in the 1948 Bengali film ''Devdut'', directed by Atanu Bandopadhyay. He worked with some of the most prominent directors of Bengali cinema, like Satyajit Ray and Mrinal Sen. Early life Bandopadhyay started his schooling from Kushtia Municipal School in East Bengal, now Bangladesh. He passed matriculation in 1944. In 1946, he finished his IA exam from City College, Kolkata, an affiliate of the University of Calcutta. He worked in Gun & Shell factory.
