Anže Logar
Anže Logar (born 15 May 1976) is a Slovenian politician who was Minister of Foreign Affairs in the third Janša cabinet from March 2020 to June 2022. Logar served as the director of the Government Communication Office in both Governments of Janez Janša, and served as the official spokesperson of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2008. In the presidential elections of October and November 2022, he was a candidate, but lost to Nataša Pirc Musar. Education and early life In 2000, Logar graduated at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana. In January 2006, he obtained his MSc degree at The Graduate School of Government and European Studies. In July 2016 Logar received a doctorate from the Faculty of Applied Social Studies in Nova Gorica. Logar started working in 2000 in the marketing division of SKB Bank, Société Générale group. 2014 Slovenian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Slovenia on 13 July 2014 to elect the 90 deputies of the National Assembly. The early election, less than three years after the previous one, was called following the resignation of Alenka Bratušek's government in May. Seventeen parties participated, including seven new parties, some of which formed only months before the election took place. Party of Miro Cerar (SMC), a new party led by lawyer and professor Miro Cerar, won the election with over 34% of the vote and 36 seats. Seven political parties won seats in the National Assembly. Drowning
Drowning is a type of Asphyxia, suffocation induced by the submersion of the mouth and nose in a liquid. Submersion injury refers to both drowning and near-miss incidents. Most instances of fatal drowning occur alone or in situations where others present are either unaware of the victim's situation or unable to offer assistance. After successful resuscitation, drowning victims may experience breathing problems, confusion, or unconsciousness. Occasionally, victims may not begin experiencing these symptoms until several hours after they are rescued. Valdas Adamkus
Valdas Adamkus (; born Voldemaras Adamkavičius; November 3, 1926) is a Lithuanian politician, diplomat and civil engineer who served as the fifth and seventh president of Lithuania from 1998 to 2003 and again from 2004 to 2009. Adamkus' first tenure as president lasted for five years, from February 26, 1998 to February 28, 2003, following his defeat by Rolandas Paksas in the 2003 presidential election. Paksas was later impeached and removed from office by a parliamentary vote on April 6, 2004. Soon afterwards, when a new election was announced, Adamkus again ran for president and was re-elected.
