Anwesha
Anwesha is an annual cultural festival of Indian Institute of Technology Patna. It is a three-day-long event usually held towards the end of January every year. The fest hosts cultural, literary, ecological and management events. The first edition of Anwesha took place in 2008. It draws a footfall of about 35,000 from more than 200 colleges across the country. Management events such as Stock Mart, B-quiz, Vendre and ecological events like Eco-debate, Green quiz give participants ample scope to showcase their talents. Anwesha enjoys a cult status among the youths of Bihar. Eminent personalities such as chief minister Nitish Kumar, Padma Vibhushan, G. Madhavan Nair, Ravindra Kumar Sinha (biologist), Ravindra Kumar Sinha (the Dolphin Man of India), have been part of Anwesha in the past. Indian Institute Of Technology Patna
Indian Institute of Technology Patna (abbreviated IIT Patna or IITP) is a public technical university located at Bihta near Patna, Bihar. It is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. It is one of the new IITs established by an Act of the Indian Parliament on August 6, 2008. The permanent campus of IIT Patna is located at Bihta which is approximately 30 km west of Patna and has been fully operational since 2015. Campus IIT Patna's campus is located at Amhara, Bihta, 35 km from Patna at a site. The foundation stone of the IIT Patna, Bihta Campus was laid by Kapil Sibal in 2011. Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) refer to networks of spatially dispersed and dedicated sensors that monitor and record the physical conditions of the environment and forward the collected data to a central location. WSNs can measure environmental conditions such as temperature, sound, pollution levels, humidity and wind. These are similar to wireless ad hoc networks in the sense that they rely on wireless connectivity and spontaneous formation of networks so that sensor data can be transported wirelessly. Shatrughan Prasad Sinha (born 9 December 1945) is an Indian actor and politician. He is a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Asansol constituency as a member of All India Trinamool Congress (TMC). The Patna High Court is the High Court of the state of Bihar. It was established on 9 February 1916 and later affiliated under the Government of India Act 1915. The court is based in Patna, the administrative capital of the state of Bihar, India. Abhayanand
Abhayanand is an IPS officer and educationalist who, along with Anand Kumar, conceptualised Super 30 to teach poor students to crack IIT JEE. Following his graduation from Patna Science College, Abhayanand was selected as the IPS officer for the Bihar cadre after clearing UPSC Civil Services Examination in 1977. He was the ADG (headquarters) in 2006 and as such he concentrated on the speedy trial of Arms Act cases in Bihar. Later, during his tenure as the ADG of Bihar Military Police, Patna, he motivated the constables to donate from their salaries to convert a dilapidated government hospital into a modern nursing home with state-of-the-art facilities for treatment of the police force and their family members.
