Antonio Helio de Castro Neto, often referred to as theGodfather of Graphene,'is a Brazilian-born physicist who serves as the founder and director of the Centre for Advanced 2D Materials (previously known as the Graphene Research Centre) and as Co-Director of thInstitute for Functional Intelligent Materials (IFIM)at the National University of Singapore. He is a condensed matter theorist known for his work in the theory of metals, magnets, superconductors, graphene and two-dimensional materials. A nanostructure is a structure of intermediate size between microscopic and molecular structures. Nanostructural detail is microstructure at nanoscale. In describing nanostructures, it is necessary to differentiate between the number of dimensions in the volume of an object which are on the nanoscale. Fermi liquid theory (also known as Landau's Fermi-liquid theory) is a theoretical model of interacting fermions that describes the normal state of the conduction electrons in most metals at sufficiently low temperatures. The theory describes the behavior of many-body systems of particles in which the interactions between particles may be strong. Eduardo Hector Fradkin (born February 21, 1950) is an Argentinian theoretical physicist known for working in various areas of condensed matter physics, primarily using quantum field theoretical approaches.
