Anton Wedin
Anton Wedin (born March 1, 1993) is a Swedish professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing with Timrå IK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Playing career Wedin first played as a youth with hometown club, IF Sundsvall Hockey, before securing a move as a junior to Timrå IK. In the 2009–10 season, Wedin was the leading scorer for his team in the J18 Allsvenskan. In the playoffs he registered 3 goals and 5 points in just three games. In the 2011–12 season, Wedin made his professional debut with Timrå IK in the Elitserien, in a 2-1 shootout defeat to Frölunda HC on 26 December 2011. He went scoreless in 10 games in a limited fourth line role, before he was loaned out to hometown club IF Sundsvall of the HockeyAllsvenskan, featuring in two games. Timrå IK
Timrå IK is a professional Swedish ice hockey team based in Timrå, north of Sundsvall. It competes in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), which is the top-tier league in Sweden, since being promoted by winning 2021 SHL qualifiers. Previous seasons in the top Swedish division include 1956–57 to 1975–76, 1977–78, 1981–82, 2000–01 to 2012–13 and 2018–19. The team's home venue is NHC Arena with a capacity of 6,000 spectators. Jonathan Dahlén
Jonathan Dahlén (born 20 December 1997) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who is currently with Timrå IK in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Dahlén was rated as a top prospect, and was drafted 42nd overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft and played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the San Jose Sharks. Playing career In 2016, Dahlén led his team in scoring with 15 goals and 29 points in 51 games. He improved upon this in his second year, leading his team again with 25 goals and 19 assists in just 45 games. On 27 February 2017, Dahlén was traded by the Senators to the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for Alex Burrows ahead of the NHL trade deadline. Kontinental Hockey League
The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL; russian: Континентальная хоккейная лига (КХЛ), Kontinental'naya khokkeynaya liga) is an international professional ice hockey league founded in 2008. It comprises member clubs based in Russia (19), Belarus (1), Kazakhstan (1) and China (1) for a total of 22 clubs. 2021–22 KHL Season
The 2021–22 KHL season was the 14th season of the Kontinental Hockey League. There were 24 teams that competed in 56 regular season games, beginning on 1 September 2021 and was scheduled to finish on 1 March 2022. However, the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in more than 50 games being postponed prior to the break for the 2022 Winter Olympics, and in February, it was announced that no further regular season games would be played following the break. In the finals, CSKA beat Metallurg in seven games. COVID-19
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by a virus, the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The Rockford IceHogs are a professional ice hockey team based in Rockford, Illinois.
