Antisanti (in Corsican ''Antisanti'', pronounced ̃ŋ.ti.ˈzɑ̃ːŋ.ti is a commune in the Haute-Corse (Upper Corsica) department of France on the island of Corsica. Geography Antisanti is a landlocked commune on the eastern side of Corsica overlooking the eastern plain of the island some 80 km south of Bastia and 12 km west by north-west of Aléria. It belonged to the ancient Pieve of Rogna and is now part of the ''Rogna in La'' micro-region located on the right bank of the Tavignano extending from Vivario to the plain. Access to the commune is by the minor road D43 from Aléria in the east passing through the heart of the commune and the village before continuing west to join the D143 south-east of Santo-Pietro-di-Venaco. There is also a connecting road to the D343 near Vezzani. National Highway N200 passes along the eastern and northern borders but there is no access to the commune. Aghione
Aghione ( Corsican: ''Aghjone'') is a commune in the Haute-Corse department of France on the island of Corsica. Geography Aghion is located on the eastern plains of Corsica 5 km west of Aleria. It can be accessed by the D343 road which comes from the National Highway N198 in the south east and passes west through the southern plain of the commune to Maison Pierraggi in the west and continues on to Vezzani in the Tagnone Valley away. From the D343 the D443 branches north at the hamlet of Samuleto and continues to the village before continuing north by a tortuous mountain route to Casevecchie. The commune is watered by the Tagnone, a tributary of Tavignano that separates an area of hills to the north from the plain, which is larger in area, to the south. There is a large dam with a large lake in the south of the commune. Georges Benedetti
Georges Benedetti (29 July 1930, Antisanti – 19 November 2018) was a French politician. Biography Georges Benedetti was born to François Benedetti, who was the mayor of Antisanti. Georges followed in his father's political footsteps and became a Senator from Gard under the Socialist Party in 1981. He was also the mayor of Bagnols-sur-Cèze from 1976 to 1989. He was a member of the Board of Directors from the Regional Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual from 1992 until his death. He also chaired the Antisanti Research Historical Association (Ricerche Storiche of Antisanti). Benedetti was an advocate for the Corsican language, and believed that it should be learned in nursery schools across Corsica. A clementine (''Citrus × clementina'') is a tangor, a citrus fruit hybrid between a willowleaf mandarin orange ( ''C.'' × ''deliciosa'') and a sweet orange (''C. × sinensis''), named in honor of Clément Rodier, a French missionary who first discovered and propagated the cultivar in Algeria.
