Antikrundan
is the Swedish version of the original BBC format ''Antiques Roadshow''. The show visits different locations in Sweden and lets people bring their antiques to be valued by experts. It has stayed popular throughout the years, often with more than two million viewers in a country with 8–9 million inhabitants. The 30th season was shown from November 2018 to April 2019. Many of the experts have been with the programme since the start. The show has been hosted by Anne Lundberg since 2001. started out as a coproduction between SVT Malmö and the BBC where the Antiques Roadshow would visit Scandinavia for two programmes. premiered in August 1989 on TV2 and has since been shown on SVT every year. ''Antiques Roadshow'' is a British television programme broadcast by the BBC in which antiques appraisers travel to various regions of the United Kingdom (and occasionally in other countries) to appraise antiques brought in by local people (generally speaking). It has been running since 1979, based on a 1977 documentary programme. The series has spawned many international versions throughout Europe, North America and other countries with the same TV format. The programme is hosted by Fiona Bruce and in 2024 was in its 47th series. Eva Pernilla Elisabet Månsson Colt (name at birth, née Månsson, 23 December 1966) is a Swedish television presenter, producer, editor, and journalist. Biography Månsson Colt was born in Örebro, Örebro County. At the age of 16, and after three years of studying cultural studies at Risbergska School in Örebro, she began working for the local radio station, P4 Örebro, eventually becoming a permanent hire. Anne Lundberg
Anne Ebba-Karin Lundberg (born 29 March 1966) is a Swedish television presenter and journalist. She has presented several shows on the Swedish television station SVT and she has won the Kristallen award three times in the category for "Best female presenter of the year". She has also won one season of ''På spåret''. Career Lundberg started her journalistic work after studying journalism, at the newspaper ''Arbetaren'' in Gothenburg. Lundberg has presented the television shows '' Antikrundan'', ''Landgång'', ''Himlen kan vänta'', and ''En andra chans''. In 2001, she did a segment called "Malmö på glid" for Uppdrag Granskning which received a lot of attention. TV8 (Sweden)
TV8 is a television channel owned by Viaplay Group broadcasting to Sweden. It focuses on current affairs, documentaries and drama. The channel was started by the private equity firm Ratos in 1997 and was sold to MTG in 1999. For some years TV8 timeshared with the Scandinavian History Channel in the evening and Bloomberg Television at night and during the day; TV8's own shows were only broadcast during a few hours in the late evening. During the American invasion of Iraq in 2003 Bloomberg was replaced by the Fox News Channel. Fox News continued eventually but in December Bloomberg returned on some key slots during daytime. In November 2004, MTG launched their own historical channel Viasat History in the Nordic region. At the same time the programmes from History Channel disappeared from TV8.
