Anthony Watson (February 5, 1941 – March 9, 2021) was an American athlete. He competed in the men's long jump at the 1960 Summer Olympics. After graduating from Douglass High School, Watson competed in college at the University of Oklahoma for their track and field team winning the national championship in the long jump in 1962. Anthony Scott Watson (born September 25, 1964)1987-88 CBA Official Guide and Register, page 318 is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the San Diego State Aztecs. He led the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) in scoring in 1986, when he was named the WAC Player of the Year. Watson was named twice to both the All-WAC first team as well the All- WAC tournament Team. He finished his Aztec career with the school record for most points scored in a game (54), and left with the second-most career points (1,735) in school history. Watson was drafted by the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the fourth round of the 1986 NBA draft with the 87th overall pick. Anthony Michael Watson (born May 30, 1985) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Angels. Watson attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and played college baseball for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Watson was drafted by the Pirates in the ninth round of the 2007 Major League Baseball draft. He made his MLB debut in 2011, was an MLB All-Star in 2014, and is the all time MLB leader in holds. Anthony John "Tony" Watson (born May 18, 1949 in Chicago) is a retired 31-year Navy veteran and a graduate of the Naval Academy (1970). He is one of the "Centennial Seven" African-American sailors who served as commanding officers of United States submarines in the 20th century. He was the first black submariner to be promoted to rear admiral. He served on five different submarines and became the second African-American naval officer to command a nuclear submarine in December 1987. He was raised in the public housing community of Cabrini-Green on the near north side of Chicago, where he graduated from Lane Technical High School in 1966. At the U. S. Anthony Watson (died 10 September 1605) was an English bishop. Early life and education He was born in Durham. He was educated at Christ's College, Cambridge, where he matriculated in 1567, graduated Bachelor of Arts (BA) in 1572, and was ordained a deacon and priest on 7 May 1573 at Peterborough. He became a Fellow of Christ's (1573–1583), and graduated Cambridge Master of Arts (MA Cantab) in 1575; he was incorporated at Oxford in 1577, later becoming a Bachelor of Divinity (BD) in 1582 and a Doctor of Divinity (DD) in 1596. Anthony Reynard Watson (March 3, 1957 – July 1, 2021) was an American soul singer, who toured and recorded (off and on) with The Chi-Lites in the late 1980s and 1990s.
