Anthony Lewis (born 31 March 1983) is an English actor. Career Lewis began acting at 9 years old, with roles in television series including '' Heartbeat'', ''A Touch of Frost'' and '' Cracker'', as well as in the film ''Girls' Night''. Regular roles in ''Children's Ward'' (as Scott Morris for three series) and ''Adam's Family Tree'' (as Adam for two series) followed, as well as the lead in the show ''My Dad's a Boring Nerd''. He went on to appear in the ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale'', where he portrayed the role of Marc Reynolds for three years, making a three episode guest return five years after his initial departure. After leaving ''Emmerdale'', Lewis performed in ''Broken Voices'' at the Tristan Bates Theatre in London. Leeds () is a City status in the United Kingdom, city and the administrative centre of the City of Leeds district in West Yorkshire, England. ''Cardiac Arrest'' was a British medical drama series made by World Productions for BBC1. It first broadcast between 1994 and 1996. The series was controversial owing to its cynical depiction of doctors, nurses, and the National Health Service (NHS), although it has often topped polls of the UK medical profession as the most realistic medical drama of all time. The series was created by Jed Mercurio (writing under the pseudonym John MacUre), a former junior doctor who had worked at a hospital in Wolverhampton. Mercurio drew on his experience to provide a more visceral, albeit wryly humorous, look at the NHS in the 1990s. At the time of airing, Mercurio was still working as a doctor. ''Frankenstein's Wedding'' (also known as ''Frankenstein's Wedding… Live in Leeds'') is a live musical drama based on Mary Shelley's 1818 novel '' Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus''. The show was broadcast live on BBC Three on 19 March 2011 from Kirkstall Abbey. Summary The show followed the same story line as Shelley's novel, however it was based mostly around the night of Victor Frankenstein's wedding. An audience of 12,000 watch from Kirkstall Abbey as Victor and Elizabeth Lavenza get married. Throughout the event scenes which had been filmed prior were shown, mainly focusing on Frankenstein's monster. ''The Syndicate'' is a British television drama series. It was written by Kay Mellor and is broadcast on BBC One. It sees five members of a betting syndicate win the lottery. Each series follows a different syndicate. The first series is set in a Leeds supermarket; the second, a public hospital in Bradford; the third, a crumbling stately home near Scarborough; and the fourth is set between a dog kennel in Yorkshire and Monaco. The theme tune for the first two series of the show is "All or Nothing", by the Small Faces. For the third series, a cover version of the same song performed by Scars on 45 was used.
