Anthony Dixon
Anthony Rishard "Boobie" Dixon (born September 24, 1987) is a former American football running back. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football for Mississippi State University, where he holds multiple school rushing records. High school career As a senior at Terry High School in 2005, he racked up 304 carries for 2,683 yards (8.8 average) and 31 touchdowns in leading Terry to an 11-2 mark. He was named the Jackson metro-area player of the year by ''The Clarion-Ledger''. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. The primary roles of a running back are to receive handoffs from the quarterback to rush the ball, to line up as a receiver to catch the ball, and block. Eddie Price
Edward J. Price (September 2, 1925 – July 21, 1979) was an American football running back for the New York Giants of the National Football League. He played college football at Tulane University and was drafted in the second round of the 1950 NFL Draft. Price led the NFL in rushing in 1951. James Earl "Boobie" Miles Jr. (born April 16, 1970) is a former high school football running back for Permian High School, and was a primary subject in the book '' Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream'' by H.G. Bissinger, and the movie inspired by the book. He attended Permian High School in Odessa, Texas. Miles is a major figure in Bissinger's book as one of the top high school runningbacks in Texas. He was sought by dozens of top college football schools, but his promising career was derailed by a knee injury.
