Anthony Davis (politician)
Anthony Davis (born August 8, 1980) is an American politician from Tennessee. He is a Democrat and represented District 51 in the Tennessee House of Representatives from June to October 2023. Davis attended Martin Luther King Magnet at Pearl High School and received a marketing degree from Lambuth University Lambuth University was a private Methodist university in Jackson, Tennessee. The Metropolitan Council (officially the Metropolitan Council of Nashville and Davidson County) is the legislative body of the consolidated city-county government of Nashville, Tennessee, Nashville, Tennessee and Davidson County, Tennessee, Davidson County. Membership The Council has 40 members, 35 of which are district council representatives, and five of which are council members at-large. If an at-large member resigns or dies before serving a full four-year term, the member's seat remains vacant until the next election.
