Anthony Clemmons
Anthony Charles Clemmons (born August 15, 1994) is an American-born naturalized Kazakhstani professional basketball player for Koshigaya Alphas of the Japanese B.League. At 1.93 meters tall, he plays in the position of point guard. College career He played four seasons with the Iowa Hawkeyes and averaged 8.9 points and 3.7 assists per game as a senior. Professional career After not being chosen in the 2016 NBA draft, in August he signed his first professional contract with the BC Zepter Vienna of Austria with which he would average 17.9 points per game with 4.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game . In June 2017 he signed with BC Astana of Kazakhstan. Clemmons averaged 13.4 points, 5.5 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game in the 2018–19 season. On July 17, 2019, he signed with Monaco. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game.
