Anthony Basile
Anthony Saul Basile Delgado (born September 23, 1980) is a professional football forward who currently plays for Atlético Nacional. Club career Basile has played in the Uruguayan and Colombian second divisions and played alongside compatriot Román Torres at Colombian side Cortuluá in January 2006. In January 2012 he joined Salvadoran side Once Municipal. In summer 2014 Basile switched Río Abajo for Chorillo. The FIFA World Cup qualification is a set of competitive matches that a national association football team plays in order to qualify for one of the available berths at the final tournament of the men's FIFA World Cup. Qualifying tournaments are held within the six FIFA continental zones, each organized by their respective confederations: AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa), CONCACAF (North and Central America and the Caribbean), CONMEBOL (South America), OFC (Oceania), and UEFA (Europe). Cortuluá, officially named Cortuluá Fútbol Club S. A. and previously known as Corporación Club Deportivo Tuluá for short, was a Colombian football club from Tuluá, Valle del Cauca Department. It was founded in 1967 and last played in Categoría Primera B, the second-tier competition of Colombian football. In the 2001 Categoría Primera A season the team had its most successful campaign after winning the Apertura tournament, which granted them a spot in the 2002 Copa Libertadores.
