Anthony Amory
Anthony Amory (born 1963) is a former Bermudian cricketer. Amory was a left-handed batsman who bowled medium pace, though his bowling arm is unknown. Amory made his debut for Bermuda in the 1990 ICC Trophy against Fiji, with him making four further appearances in that tournament, the last of which came against Israel. He later made his List A debut for Bermuda against Trinidad and Tobago in the 1997/98 Red Stripe Bowl, with him making two further List A appearances in that tournament against the Windward Islands and Jamaica. He scored a total of 43 runs in his three List A matches, at an average of 14.33 and a high score of 39. Over (cricket)
In cricket, an over consists of six legal deliveries bowled from one end of a cricket pitch to the player batting at the other end, almost always by a single bowler. A maiden over is an over in which no runs are scored that count against the bowler (so leg byes and byes may be scored as they are not counted against the bowler). A wicket maiden is a maiden over in which a wicket is also taken. Similarly, double and triple wicket maidens are when two and three wickets are taken in a maiden over. In cricket, a player's batting average is the total number of runs they have scored divided by the number of times they have been out, usually given to two decimal places. Since the number of runs a player scores and how often they get out are primarily measures of their own playing ability, and largely independent of their teammates, batting average is a good metric for an individual player's skill as a batter (although the practice of drawing comparisons between players on this basis is not without criticism). The Windward Islands cricket team is a cricket team representing the member countries of the Windward Islands Cricket Board of Control. Seam Bowling
Seam bowling is a bowling technique in cricket whereby the ball is deliberately bowled on to its seam, to cause a random deviation when the ball bounces. Practitioners are known as ''seam bowlers'' or seamers. The 1990 ICC Trophy was a limited-overs cricket tournament held in the Netherlands between 4 June and 23 June 1990. It was the fourth ICC Trophy tournament to be staged, and the first to be held outside England. It was also the first ICC Trophy competition to have a title sponsor, being known officially as the Unibind ICC Trophy.
