Antena 3 is one of the three national radio channels produced by the Portugal, Portuguese public broadcasting entity Rádio e Televisão de Portugal, the others being Antena 1 (Portugal), Antena 1 and Antena 2 (Portugal), Antena 2. Antena 3 Noticias ("Antena 3 News") is the brand for Spanish broadcaster Antena 3's news programmes. Programme format The programme is generally presented by two newsreaders, with additional newsreaders for the sport. Most items will be made up of reports and are generally preceded and followed by the correspondent reporting live (''Directo'') from the scene of the report. The programme is followed by a weather report known as El Tiempo. The entire running time including commercial breaks and El Tiempo is one hour. Antena 3 Radio was a nationwide Spanish radio station opened on 1 February 1982 and closed on 19 June 1994. It served as the basis for the creation of Antena 3 Televisión. Foundation Antena 3 was created on 1 February 1982 by ''La Vanguardia'' (51%) and ''ABC (Spain), ABC'' (13%), Manuel Martín Ferrand (5%), Europa Press (news agency), Europa Press and Grupo Zeta. The CEO was Manuel Martín Ferrand, and its president was Rafael Jiménez de Parga, later succeeded by Javier Godó (from La Vanguardia).
