Tony Murphy (Gaelic Footballer)
Anthony Murphy (4 July 1950 – 13 October 2004) was an Irish Gaelic football player, selector, and administrator. He played for club side Carbery Rangers, divisional side Carbery and at the inter-county level with the Cork senior football team. Career Murphy first came to prominence as a member of the Carbery Rangers minor team that won three successive championships. His performances at the club level resulted in his inclusion on the Cork minor team that secured the All-Ireland title in 1968. Murphy progressed onto the Cork under-21 team and enjoyed three undefeated years at the provincial level before winning consecutive All-Ireland Under-21 Championships in 1970-71. By this stage, he had also been drafted onto the Cork senior team and made a number of appearances between 1971 and 1975. Anthony Mansfield (1939 – 10 March 2013) was an Irish hurler and manager who played for the Waterford senior team. Mansfield played for Waterford during the 1960s, however, he enjoyed little success during his inter-county career. Anthony Davis (born 29 November 1964), better known as Tony Davis, is an Irish former Gaelic football coach, retired player and former sports broadcaster. His league and championship career at senior level with the Cork county team spanned ten seasons from 1984 to 1994. Anthony Cunningham
Anthony Cunningham (born 16 June 1965) is a former hurler who has since managed various Gaelic football and hurling teams. He was manager of the Galway county hurling team between 2011 and 2015 and of the Roscommon county football team between 2018 and 2022. He is the only manager to lead a football team and a hurling team to provincial titles in two different provinces. Born in Peterswell, County Galway, Cunningham was raised in the south of the county.
