Bernard Anselme (; born 3 November 1945) was the 6th Minister-President of Wallonia in Belgium from 11 May 1988 to 7 January 1992. Biography Bernard Anselme was born on 3 November 1945 in Mouscron, Wallonia to a postal worker. After his father was transferred to Libramont-Chevigny, Anselme studied humanities from 1957 to 1963, ending his education in the humanities at Namur in 1963. In 1968, Anselme received a degree in political science, diplomacy and administration from the Université libre de Bruxelles in Brussels. During his time in Brussels, Anselme became involved in the Young FGTB, becoming its assistant secretary in 1964, its secretary in 1968 and serving as its president from 1968 to 1970. Anselme de Peellaert (23 November 1764 – 14 January 1817) was a nobleman from Bruges. He played a role in politics locally during the revolutionary period that struck Flanders during the closing decades of the eighteenth century, and during the years of the Consulate and French Empire that followed. Éric Anselme (born 20 May 1978) is a French former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s, former head coach of RC Albi XIII in the Elite One Championship and of the U19 French national team. He was a member of a successful privateering force at the time of Queen Anne's War, and led native and French forces in the defense of Acadia. Jacques Anselme Dorthès, born in Vauvert (Gard) on 19 July 1759 and died during the 1794 campaign of the Army of the Eastern Pyrenees, was a French physician, entomologist and naturalist. Biography Destined to enter the orders, he abandoned the seminary in 1784 and turned to medicine. He studied at the University of Montpellier where he became a doctor of medicine in 1787. At the same time, he became interested in entomology and botany, particularly with Antoine Gouan.
