Anouar Ben Naceur
Anouar Ben Naceur ( ar, انور بن ناصر; born August 22, 1983) is a Tunisian former swimmer, who specialized in freestyle events. He won a silver medal in the 400 m freestyle at the 2003 All-Africa Games in Abuja, Nigeria, placing second behind fellow Tunisian Oussama Mellouli with a time of 4:06.51. Ben Naceur qualified for the Swimming at the 2004 Summer Olympics – Men's 200 metre freestyle, men's 200 m freestyle at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, by clearing a FINA B-standard entry time of 1:54.93 from the All-Africa Games in Abuja one year earlier. He challenged seven other swimmers in heat two, including dual citizen Mihail Alexandrov of Bulgaria. He edged out Singapore's Mark Chay in a close race for fourth seed by a hundredth of a second (0.01), posting his lifetime best of 1:54.69. Mihail Alexandrov
Mihail Alexandrov ( bg, Михаил Александров) (born April 9, 1985) is an Olympic swimmer from Bulgaria. He swam for Bulgaria at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics. Alexandrov has been swimming for the USA since 2009. Alexandrov, who has dual Bulgarian/USA citizenship, swam for the USA's Northwestern University from 2003 to 2007,. In March 2007 he set a USA National Record in the 100 yard breaststroke (51.56) at the NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships, while swimming for Northwestern. This was despite the fact that he had not swum internationally for the US at that time and that he was viewed as a Bulgarian swimmer. Mark Chay
Mark Chay Jung Jun (simplified Chinese: 蔡荣俊; born 18 February 1982) is a Singaporean freestyle swimmer who has represented the Republic in, amongst others, the SEA Games and Summer Olympics. His international swimming career began at the 1997 SEA Games, and stretched all the way till the 2005 SEA Games. In between, he has competed in a total of five SEA Games, two Asian Games, two Commonwealth Games and two Olympics. He has been awarded "Singapore Sportsboy of the Year" in 2000, and Sportsman of the Year in 2001. Chay competed and studied at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He was the Mountain West Conference Champion. Chay graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Communications: Communications studies emphasis. Chay retired from swimming in July 2007.
