Anodyne (video Game)
''Anodyne'' is an Action-adventure game, action-adventure video game developed by Analgesic Productions. After a nearly year-long development through developers Melos Han-Tani and Marina Kittaka's last years in college, the game was released on February 4, 2013, for Microsoft Windows, Windows PC, Mac OS X and Linux. An Android (operating system), Android version was released as part of a Humble Bundle on October 15, 2013. The PlayStation 4 version of the game was released on September 9, 2018, the Xbox One version was released on September 21, 2018, and the Nintendo Switch version was released on February 28, 2019. The ''Anodyne'' soundtrack was also made available for purchase at the game’s initial release, including all of the music in the game as well as a few bonus tracks. Adam Saltsman, also known as Adam Atomic, is an American indie video game designer best known for creating the endless runner '' Canabalt''. He is a founder of Semi Secret Software and Finji video game studios. Career Flixel (2008-11) Saltsman produced an open-source game development library for Adobe Flash called Flixel. Eureka Farm was a band from Bellingham, Washington. It began in 1996 with members Arman Bohn (songwriter/guitar), Ben Gibbard (drums), and Nick Harmer (bass). During this time the band went by the name "Shed". Gibbard left the band and was replaced by Jason McGerr (drums) in 1996. The band changed its name to "Eureka Farm" in 1997. Risk Of Rain
''Risk of Rain'' is a 2013 roguelike platform game developed by Hopoo Games. Initially made by a two-student team from the University of Washington using the GameMaker engine. The game was funded through Kickstarter before being released on Microsoft Windows in November 2013. Ports for OS X and Linux versions were released a year later, with console versions being released in the later half of the 2010s. Players control the survivor of a space freighter crash on a strange planet. Players attempt to survive by killing monsters and collecting items that can boost their offensive and defensive abilities. The game features a difficulty scale that increases with time, requiring the player to choose between spending time building experience and completing levels quickly before the monsters become more difficult.
