Anneliese Midgley
Anneliese Midgley is a British Labour Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Knowsley since 2024. Early life Midgeley was born in Stockbridge Village. She attended Brookside Community School. Career Her first job was at The Beatles Shop in Liverpool when she was thirteen. She worked as a DJ in nightclubs before getting involved in politics. Midgley previously worked for Ken Livingstone when he was Mayor of London. She also worked on Jeremy Corbyn's 2015 leadership campaign and became his deputy chief of staff. She then worked as the political director of Unite the union before becoming an adviser for Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner.
