Anne Of Green Gables (anime)
is a Japanese animated television series and the fifth entry in Nippon Animation's ''World Masterpiece Theater'' franchise. It was adapted from the 1908 novel ''Anne of Green Gables'' by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Produced by Nippon Animation in 1979, it was first broadcast on Fuji TV from January 7 to December 30. Eriko Kishida (岸田 衿子, ''Kishida Eriko'', January 5, 1929 – April 7, 2011) was a Japanese poet, children's author, lyricist, and translator. She is known for writing the lyrics to popular animated children's television shows like ''Anne of Green Gables'' and ''Heidi, Girl of the Alps'', as well as her children's picture books. is a 1991 Japanese animated drama film written and directed by Isao Takahata, based on the 1982 manga ''Omoide Poro Poro'' by Hotaru Okamoto and Yuko Tone. was a Japanese animator who worked for Studio Ghibli in his last years. He was born in Gosen, Niigata, Gosen, Niigata Prefecture, Japan.
