Anne Mette Hansen
Anne Mette Hansen (born 25 August 1994) is a Danish handball player for Metz Handball and the Danish national team. National team career She debuted for the Danish national team on 27 October 2013, and the same year she represented Denmark at the 2013 World Women's Handball Championship in Serbia (where the Danish team won bronze medals), and she has been a mainstay on the national setup since. Since then she has won two additional bronze medals in 2021 and 2023. Club career Anne Mette Hansen started playing handball at the age of 10 at FHH90. In 2010 she went to Københavns Idrætsefterskole (KIES) while at the same time switching to Ajax København. Here she made her senior league debut in the Danish 1st Division (second tier) in 2014, before signing her first professional contract with København Håndbold. Glostrup
Glostrup is a Danish town in Region Hovedstaden, forming one of the western suburbs of Copenhagen. It is the administrative seat of Glostrup Municipality, with an estimated population of 22,357 . During the 20th century Glostrup developed from a small railroad town into a modern middle class suburb. The population reached a peak during the 1970s flight from central Copenhagen, but has since stabilized. 2011 European Women's U-17 Handball Championship
The 2011 European Women's U-17 Handball Championship was the tenth edition of the European Women's U-17 Handball Championship. It took place in the Czech Republic, in two host cities, Brno and Zlin, from June 23 to July 3. Sixteen teams participated on the tournament, including the fifteen qualifying winners and the host nation. Denmark was the defending champion and reached the final this time as well, but fell short against Russia by a single goal. The tournament also served as the qualification for the forthcoming Youth World Championship. Top seven ranked countries have won the right to represent Europe on the event next year, joined by host nation Montenegro. Nemzeti Bajnokság I (women's Handball)
The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, "National Championship"), also known as NB I, is the top level of the Hungarian football league system. The league is officially named OTP Bank Liga after its title sponsor OTP Bank. UEFA currently ranks the league 28th in Europe. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. At the end of the season, the top team enters the qualification for the UEFA Champions League, while the runner-up and the third place, together with the winner of the Magyar Kupa enter the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification rounds. The Women's EHF Champions League is the competition for the top women's handball clubs in Europe, organised annually by the European Handball Federation (EHF). It is the most prestigious tournament for clubs, with the champions of Europe's top national leagues participating. Kristina Jørgensen (born 18 January 1998) is a Danish handball player for Metz Handball and the Danish national team. She represented Denmark at the 2017 World Women's Handball Championship in Germany. The 2019–20 Women's EHF Champions League was the 27th edition of the Women's EHF Champions League, the competition for top women's clubs of Europe, organized and supervised by the European Handball Federation.
