Anne Holmlund
Anne Elisabeth Holmlund (born 18 April 1964) is a Politics of Finland, Finnish politician and Minister of the Interior (Finland), Minister of the Interior of Finland from 2007 to 2011. She was a Member of Parliament for the National Coalition Party from 2002 until 2015. Political career Holmlund has been a member of the city council of Ulvila since 1989, and the council chairman 2001-2002 and 2005–2007. She was a member of the Kommunstyrelse, kaupunginhallitus 1993-2000 and the vice-chairman 2003–2004. She has been a Member of Parliament for the National Coalition Party since 2002. On 19 April 2007 she was chosen to be Interior Minister in Matti Vanhanen's second cabinet. After the Kauhajoki school shooting in September 2008 Holmlund came under considerable pressure from some members of parliament, particularly those in the Left Alliance (Finland), Left Alliance, to quit for failing to change legislation in order to prevent the shooting. France 24 ( in French) is a French state-owned publicly funded international news television network based in Paris. Its channels, broadcast in French, English, Arabic and Spanish, are aimed at the overseas market. Based in the Paris suburb of Issy-les-Moulineaux, the service started on 6 December 2006. Jyrki Tapani Katainen (born 14 October 1971) is a Finnish politician who served as the European Commission's Vice-President for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness from 2014 until 2019. Katainen was previously prime minister of Finland from 2011 to 2014 and chairman of the National Coalition Party from 2004 to 2014. He was succeeded by Alexander Stubb as chairman of Finland's National Coalition Party. After stepping down as prime minister, Katainen was elected as European Commission Vice-President in July 2014.
