Annapurna Mishra
Annapurna Mishra was the first Mayor of the East Delhi Municipal Corporation. She was the first to occupy the office of mayor after the creation of three new local bodies in New Delhi after the municipal elections in 2012. She represents the Sonia Vihar neighborhood in East Delhi as a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. Career She launched a ‘tree plantation drive’ and plans to plant one lakh saplings. She has instructed officials to come up with a list of chargesheeted employees so that they are not posted on sensitive posts. Sonia Vihar is a north-east suburb of Delhi near Wazirabad on the bank of the river Yamuna. Kapil Mishra
Kapil Mishra (born 13 November 1980) is an Indian politician from Delhi. Before joining the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2019, Mishra was an Aam Aadmi Party MLA representing Karawal Nagar (Delhi Assembly constituency) in the Sixth Legislative Assembly of Delhi. He is also vice president of Delhi BJP. He was inducted as a Water Resource Minister in Arvind Kejriwal cabinet led AAP government of NCT Delhi, he was removed by Arvind Kejriwal from his ministry over corruption found in his ministry works, later he accused Arvind Kejriwal of corruption along with Satyendra Kumar Jain. Afterward, he sought appointments with the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Delhi to lodge his complaints, regarding 2 crores of bribe money which he alleged had been exchanged, but could not prove it.
