Annamária Vicsek ( sr, Анамарија Вичек, Anamarija Viček; born 9 February 1973) is a Serbian politician from the country's Hungarians in Serbia, Hungarian community. She has served two terms in the National Assembly of Serbia and has been a secretary of state since 2016 in Serbia's Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development (Serbia), Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development. In Serbian politics, Vicsek is a member of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (VMSZ). In April 2024, Hungary's Fidesz–KDNP alliance announced that Viscek would appear on its electoral list in the 2024 European Parliament election. Early life and career Vicsek was born in Subotica, in what was then the Socialist Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in the Socialist Republic of Serbia, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Subotica ( sr-cyrl, Суботица, ; hu, Szabadka) is a city and the administrative center of the North Bačka District in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia.
