Anna Carmen Schell (born 3 August 1993) is a German Freestyle wrestling, freestyle wrestler. She is a two-time bronze medalist at the World Wrestling Championships and a two-time medalist, including gold, at the European Wrestling Championships. She also Germany at the 2020 Summer Olympics, represented Germany at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. Career In 2017, Schell lost her bronze medal match against Svetlana Saenko of Moldova in the 2017 European Wrestling Championships – Women's freestyle 75 kg, 75kg event at the 2017 European Wrestling Championships, European Wrestling Championships held in Novi Sad, Serbia. The 2021 World Wrestling Championships was the 17th edition of the World Wrestling Championships of combined events and was held from 2 to 10 October 2021 in Oslo, Norway. The event was subsequent to the 2019 World Championships due to the cancelation of the 2020 edition during the COVID-19 pandemic. 2018 Yasar Dogu Tournament
The 46th Yasar Dogu Tournament 2018, was a wrestling event held in Istanbul, Turkey between the 27 and 29 July 2018. This international tournament includes competition in both men's and women's freestyle wrestling. This ranking tourment was held in honor of the two time Olympic Champion, Yaşar Doğu. Wrestling champs square off in Istanbul tournament. Some 300 freestyle wrestlers from 25 countries descended on Istanbul on Friday for a three-day international tournament. Matteo Pellicone Ranking Series 2022
The Matteo Pellicone Ranking Series 2022 was a wrestling event held in Ostia, Rome, Italy between 22 and 25 of June 2022. The third United World Wrestling Ranking Series event of the year, it featured multiple World and Olympic Champions, Pan-American Champions, European Champions, Asian Champions and NCAA Champions. The United World Wrestling postponed the Matteo Pellicone. Despite the efforts of the Italian Wrestling Federation to host Rome's Matteo Pellicone on the previously scheduled dates of February 4–7, the latest restrictions due to the Omicron variant proved to be a roadblock in hosting the event. The tournament will now be held June 22–25 in Rome, Italy preceding the 2022 European Juniors Wrestling Championships, which begin June 27 at the Pala Pellicone. Blessing Oborududu
Blessing Oborududu (born 12 March 1989, in Gbanranu) is a Nigerian freestyle wrestler. She is currently ranked as the world number two woman wrestler and also the first wrestler to win an Olympic medal representing Nigeria at the Olympics. She is also a ten time African champion from 2010 to 2020. Career Oborududu was invited to a national camp in 2007 to take part at the African Games after noticing her impressive performances at school inter-house wrestling competitions. Her parents were initially against her ambition to become a sport wrestler and advised her that wrestling is allocated only for boys. She idolised Canadian-Nigerian wrestler Daniel Igali who was originally regarded as the first person from Nigeria to win an Olympic medal in wrestling.
