Anna Kashfi
Anna Kashfi (born Joan O'Callaghan; 30 September 1934 – 16 August 2015) was a British actress who had a brief Hollywood career in the 1950s but was better known for her tumultuous marriage to film star Marlon Brando and the controversies surrounding their son. Early life Kashfi was born in Chakradharpur, India, to William Patrick O'Callaghan, a traffic superintendent on the Indian State railways, who was a Londoner of Irish descent, and his Welsh wife, Phoebe. She was raised in Calcutta until she was 13, when the family relocated to Cardiff, Wales. Family background By the age of 22 Joan O'Callaghan had transformed herself into the exotic "ethnic Indian" model and actress Anna Kashfi, using a name invented by her and Glyn Mortimer, the head of a London modelling agency. Tarita Cheyenne Brando (20 February 1970 – 16 April 1995) was a French fashion model. She was the daughter of actor Marlon Brando by his third wife Tarita Teriipaia, an actress from French Polynesia whom he met while filming ''Mutiny on the Bounty'' in 1962. The Cartagena Film Festival (), or FICCI, is a film festival held in Cartagena, Colombia, which focuses mainly on the promotion of Colombian television series, Latin American films and short films. The Cartagena Film Festival, which is held every March, is the oldest film festival in Latin America. The Cartagena Film Festival was founded 1959 by Victor Nieto. Nieto remained the director of the film festival for 48 years, his last being in 2008. Nieto died at the age of 92 in November 2008. ''Battle Hymn'' is a 1957 American war film directed by Douglas Sirk and starring Rock Hudson as Lieutenant Colonel Dean E. Hess, a real-life United States Air Force fighter pilot in the Korean War who helped evacuate several hundred war orphans to safety.
