Anna Boulygina
Anna Frolina, (russian: Анна Алексеевна Фролина, ko, 안나 프롤리나, née Boulygina russian: Булыгина, born 11 January 1984) is a South Korean (since 2016) and Russian (until 2015) biathlete. Currently she resides at Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. Career Started competing in the World Cup in 2006–07 season ranking 31 in the Biathlon World Cup total score. She missed most of the 2007–08 season due to knee injury. In May 2008, she reappeared on the Russia's national team, and after summer training sessions was admitted to the World Cup. On 21 December 2008 in Hochfilzen came her first World Cup win shared with the relay teammates. First World Cup win came in Antholz-Anterselva Pursuit on 24 January 2009, when she spectacularly stormed the last meters of the course to brush her rivals off the top spot. Salekhard (russian: Салеха́рд; Khanty: , ''Pułñawat''; yrk, Саляʼ харад, ''Saljaꜧ harad'') is a town in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Russia, serving as the okrug's administrative centre. It crosses the Arctic Circle, the main parts being about south and suburbs stretching to the north of the circle. History The settlement of Obdorsk () was founded in 1595, in the place of a Khanty settlement called Polnovat-Vozh (), by Russian settlers after the conquest of Siberia. It was situated on the Ob River, and its name supposedly derives from that. The land around Obdorsk was referred to as Obdorsky krai, or Obdoriya. The town was often used as a place of exile during the Tsarist and Soviet periods. Among notable people who spent time here were the Doukhobor spiritual leader Pyotr Verigin and Leon Trotsky. Whistler Blackcomb
Whistler Blackcomb is a ski resort located in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. By many measures it is the largest ski resort in North America and has the greatest uphill lift capacity. It features the Peak 2 Peak Gondola for moving between Whistler Mountain, Whistler and Blackcomb Peak, Blackcomb mountains at the top. With all of this capacity, Whistler Blackcomb is also often the busiest ski resort, often surpassing 2 million visitors a year. Whistler was originally conceived as part of a bid to win the 1968 Winter Olympics. Although the bid failed, construction started anyway and the resort opened for the first time in January 1966.
