Anna Agnér
Anna Naemi Gabriella Agnér (; 3 October 1896 – 21 November 1977) was a Swedish painter. She lived in Stockholm, and spent significant time in Paris. Biography Anna Naemi Gabriella Johansson was born on 3 October 1896, in the Mörbylånga Municipality, she was the daughter of Sigrid, and of Bror Johansson, an organist and elementary school teacher. The family initially lived in Hulterstad, on the Baltic island of Öland, and later moved to Mörrum. She studied with the sculptor Gottfrid Larsson, and the painter Otte Sköld in Stockholm. She also attended the Skåne School of Painting (). In 1918, she married Bror Hilbert Thorell, a merchant, and they had one son. Their marriage eventually ended. By 1931, she remarried to Gunnar Teodor Agnér, and they moved together to Stocksund, near Stockholm. Agnér made study trips to Paris where she attended classes the Académie Scandinave. Mörbylånga Municipality
Mörbylånga Municipality () is a Municipalities of Sweden, municipality in Kalmar County, in south-eastern Sweden, located on the island of Öland in the Baltic Sea. The seat is located in the town of Mörbylånga, while the largest town is Färjestaden. The present municipality, making up the southern part of Öland, was formed in 1974. The eighteen original entities (as of 1863) had during the nationwide subdivision reform of 1952 been regrouped into three larger units. ''Ottenby'' was amalgamated with Mörbylånga in 1967 and 1974 ''Torslunda'' was added. Ulricehamn is a locality and the seat of Ulricehamn Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden, with 9,787 inhabitants in 2010. History Ulricehamn, originally known as ''Bogesund'', has been populated at least since the Middle Ages. The town has had city privileges since at least the 15th century. There are still several old buildings from the 17th and 18th century and the picturesque main street ''Storgatan'' has existed in its present form for centuries. Stocksund () is an upper-class suburb in Metropolitan Stockholm, Sweden. Located immediately across the Edsviken and Stocksundet from Bergshamra, Stocksund is one of four parts of Danderyd Municipality north of Stockholm, which is the most affluent municipality of Sweden. Average real estate prices for houses are the highest in Sweden, similar to the neighbouring Djursholm. It was the site of the Stocksund Studios film and television studios based in a former power station. Danderyd Municipality
Danderyd Municipality (; ) is a municipality north of Stockholm in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. It is one of the smallest municipalities of Sweden, but the most affluent. Its seat is located in Djursholm and it is located within Stockholm urban area. The "old" rural municipality Danderyd was split up during the early 20th century, when Djursholm and Stocksund broke away in 1901 and 1910 respectively. Since 1971 Danderyd Municipality is reunified in approximately the old boundaries. The population in 2019 was 32,857. The four districts making up Danderyd are: Danderyd, Djursholm, Stocksund and Enebyberg. Otte Sköld
Joseph Adolf Johannes Sköld (14 July 1894 – 7 November 1958), commonly known as Otte Sköld, was a Swedish painter, mosaicist, scenographer, draftsman, graphic artist, and teacher. He taught at the Académie Moderne and Académie Scandinave both in Montparnasse, Paris, and later ran his own painting school in Stockholm. Sköld worked as the director of the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, and was involved with the founding of the Moderna Museet. Early life and education Otte Sköld was born as Joseph Adolf Johannes Sköld on 14 July 1894, in Wuchang, China. His parents, Eva Charlotta Eriksdotter and , were missionaries. His brother was Hannes Sköld, a noted linguist and Socialist. His early schooling was in China, and at the age of thirteen his family moved to Sweden.
