Jon Holst-Christensen
Jon Holst-Christensen (born 16 June 1968) is a retired male badminton player from Denmark who is the son of two great badminton players in the 60's, and Tonny Holst-Christensen. Jon is prominent in men's and mixed doubles for Denmark team alongside players such as Thomas Lund and Michael Sogaard. Career In his illustrious career, Jon has won several big titles which includes 2 All England Open titles in both men and mixed doubles categories in 1993, 3 times European Champions (2 in men's doubles and 1 in mixed), Japan Open, and Denmark Open. Jon also won 4 medals (3 silvers and 1 bronze) in World Championships in 1991,1993 and 1995 and compete in 3 Olympics. Marlene Thomsen (born 5 May 1971) is a former badminton player from Denmark. Career Thomsen is a world-class level player in badminton especially in mixed doubles during the 90's decade. Thomsen managed to win the 1995 World Badminton Championships with her pair, Thomas Lund and grabbed another silver in 1997 World Badminton Championships with another pair, Jens Eriksen in that category. Thomsen is also a 3 times Denmark Open winners and won the illustrious All England Open in 1995. Rikke Olsen
Rikke Olsen Siegemund (born 19 April 1975) is a retired badminton player from Denmark. She won the mixed doubles title at the World Junior Championships in 1992 and the girls' doubles title at the European Junior Championships in 1993. Born in Søndre Roskilde, Olsen came from the badminton family, and started playing at the age of six. She trained in Kastrup-Magleby BK and played for the team for eight seasons, won fourteen National titles, seven World Championships bronze medals, three times runner-up in All England Open, and reached in to the bronze medal match at the Olympic Games in 1996, 2000 and 2004. During her career, she was ranked as world No. 1 in the mixed doubles and No. 2 in the women's doubles. After retiring from the tournament, she became the national junior coach.
