Ankhon Dekhi
''Ankhon Dekhi'' () is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language drama film written and directed by Rajat Kapoor and produced by Manish Mundra. It stars Sanjay Mishra and Rajat Kapoor. The film was released on 21 March 2014. It was the opening film at the 8th annual Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival (MISAFF) 2014 in Toronto. It is Kapoor's fifth feature film and was dedicated to his idols and teachers: filmmakers Mani Kaul and Kumar Shahani. At the 2015 Screen Awards ceremony, ''Ankhon Dekhi'' won the awards for Best Supporting Actress for Seema Pahwa, Best Story and Best Ensemble Cast. The film is based on the philosophy of empiricism. Rajat Kapoor is an Indian actor, filmmaker and playwright who works in Hindi cinema. Early life and early career Rajat Kapoor was born in Delhi, India and grew up in Old Delhi. In 1983 he joined the theatre group Chingari in Delhi. In 1985 he moved to Pune to attend the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). Kapoor started out in Parallel Cinema, making his debut in the 1989 Kumar Shahani film '' Khayal Gatha''. Namit Das (born 10 July 1984) is an Indian film, television, theatre actor and singer. He has acted in several television commercials. He belongs to a family of musicians and singers; his father is reputed ghazal singer Chandan Dass. His maternal grandfather was K. Pannalal, who worked for Delhi All India Radio and Doordarshan, and was a musician par excellence. One of his maternal uncles, Jaidev Kumar, is a famous Punjabi music director, and another is Ajay K.
