Anjunadeep
Anjunabeats (, ) is a British record label started in 2000 by producers Jonathan "Jono" Grant and Paavo Siljamäki of Above & Beyond. Initially, Anjunabeats was only a trance music label, and it started releasing trance-edged house in 2011. The name Anjuna comes from the name of a beach in Goa, India. History In 2000, Anjunabeats released its first 12" record, titled ''Volume One'', which was released under Grant and Siljamäki's alias ''Anjunabeats''. As the label got the name Anjunabeats, they decided to produce under different aliases, such as Free State and Dirt Devils. They were soon joined by Tony McGuinness in 2000 after he was asked to collaborate on a remix of Chakra's "Home" and formed Above & Beyond. In 2005, Above & Beyond launched the sub-label Anjunadeep, aimed at releases that do not fit under the main label's trance focus, allowing more diversity within Anjunabeats. Ben Böhmer
Ben Böhmer (born 1993) is a German DJ, producer and remixer from Göttingen, Germany. He primarily produces and performs indie electronica and melodic house music, and has released tracks on labels Ninja Tune, Anjunadeep, Keller Records, and Cercle Music. He lives in Berlin. Career Böhmer played piano and trumpet during his childhood before he began composing music with the synthesizer. At the end of 2015 he produced his first single, Promise You, which appeared on the ''Mauerblümchen'' (Ger., wallflower) compilation of the label Ton Töpferei, based in his hometown of Göttingen, Germany. On November 1, 2016, the eponymous Promise You EP, also on Ton Töpferei, was released. Øistein Johan Eide (; born 10 September 1974 in Bergen), better known by his stage name Boom Jinx, is a Norwegian music producer and DJ. Career In 1989, Boom Jinx started making music with SoundTracker developed for the Commodore Amiga computer. In 1991, he was hired as a freelancer to create music for a US game developer. In 2005, after a career in advertising, video games, television and film, he turned to dance music. Boom Jinx's track "Manipulator" was featured as "a hot new track" on BBC Radio 1, and was licensed to the soundtrack of the television show '' CSI: Miami''. Eli & Fur are a DJ and electronic music producer duo comprising Eliza Noble and Jennifer Skillman, hailing from London, England. Biography Eli & Fur have been working together since they were in their teens. The group has a background in songwriting and while they started out in DJ music, they are moving into live acts using Ableton software. Eli & Fur write and play their own tracks, which creates a sound that is "distinctly electronic, mixing house and dance beats." Anish Sood, also known by his alias, Anyasa (born 22 November 1989), is an Indian music producer, songwriter and DJ. He is currently signed to English deep house label Anjunadeep and released his debut Gaya EP as Anyasa in July 2021. Early life Anish Sood was born and brought up in Goa, India. He attended high school in Vasco da Gama, Goa. Anish holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Goa Engineering College. His father and uncle are guitar players and he started collecting cassettes and CDs at the age of 9. Andrew Michael Bayer (born 1987) is an American DJ and Grammy-nominated music producer. He is best known for working with Anjunabeats as a multi-genre artist and English deep house sublabel Anjunadeep. Born in Washington, D.C., Bayer was piano-educated as a child before graduating with a degree in music synthesis at the Berklee College of Music. His first professional music projects involved working with Scottish producer Alan Nimmo as trance music duo Signalrunners and releasing multiple extended plays and remixes through Anjunadeep. Bayer's first studio album, ''It's Artificial'', was released in 2011 and seen as a multi-genre musical record. Jono Grant (born 16 November 1979) is an English DJ, musician and vocalist, better known as a member of electronic music group Above & Beyond (alongside Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki) and duo JODA (with Darren Tate). He is also a part owner of London-based electronic dance music labels Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep. Personal life Grant attended the University of Westminster where he met fellow Above & Beyond member Paavo Siljamäki and discovered a mutual interest in Electronic Music. Grant married his wife Giselle in Miami. Grant's sister, Charlotte, died in early 2015 on her 42nd birthday. Anjuna
Anjuna (, ; ) is a village located on the coast of North Goa, India. It is a Census Town, one of the twelve comunidades of Bardez. It is mostly a tourist destination. Its church, St. Michael's Church, Anjuna, founded in 1595, is dedicated to S. Miguel, and celebrates the feasts of S. Miguel (29 September) and Nossa Senhora Advogada (second week of January).
