Above & Beyond are an electronic music group consisting of English DJs Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Finnish DJ Paavo Siljamäki. Formed in 2000, they are the owners of London-based electronic dance music labels Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, and also host a weekly radio show titled ''Group Therapy Radio''. The trio has been consistently ranked among ''DJ Magazine's'' Top 100 DJs Poll, having placed at No. 6 in 2007, No. 4 in 2008 & 2009, No. 5 in 2010 & 2011, No. 51 in 2018, No. 22 in 2019, No. 19 in 2020, No. 21 in 2021, and most recently No. 30 in 2022. Anjunabeats Compilation Albums
Anjunabeats is a British record label started by producers Jonathan "Jono" Grant and Paavo Siljamäki of Above & Beyond in 2000. Initially exclusively a trance music label, around 2011 Anjunabeats started releasing primarily trance-edged house. The name Anjuna comes from the name of a beach in Goa, India. History In 2000, Anjunabeats released its first 12" record, titled Volume One, which was released under Grant and Siljamäki's alias ''Anjunabeats''. As the label got the name Anjunabeats, they decided to produce under different aliases, such as Free State and Dirt Devils. They were soon joined by Tony McGuinness in 2000 after he was asked to collaborate on a remix of Chakra (trance duo) ‘Home’ and formed Above & Beyond. In 2005, Above & Beyond launched the sub-label Anjunadeep aimed at releases that don't fit under the main label's trance focus, allowing more diversity within Anjunabeats. Daniel Kandi
Daniel Kandi (born 29 November 1983) is a Danish trance producer and DJ currently living in Aalborg. Kandi entered the trance scene with the release of "Breathe" in 2006, on the successful Anjunabeats label. In 2010, he was ranked #77 in DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJ Poll. He is also an amateur snooker player. Biography Musical career Daniel Kandi began producing trance music in 2000 under the name DJ Mendoza. He was a member of the Danish music community then known as MyMusic (now known as BandBase), where he published his music. In 2003, he formed the duo Duval and Mundo with another member of the community, Anders Duvald Mikkelsen (also known as Stalker). Roger Shah (; born 29 November 1972), also known as DJ Shah and Sunlounger, is a German electronic music composer and producer. Biography History Roger Shah was born in Esslingen in West Germany to a German mother and a Pakistani father. His brother Pedro del Mar (real name Patrick Shah), also a trance DJ, hosts a bi-weekly vocal trance show called Mellomania. Roger first began to hit his production stride in his native country in 1999 putting out the tracks "Claps", "The Mission" and "Tides of Time". Kyau & Albert is the working name for two trance music producers and DJs from Germany named Ralph Kyau () and Steven Moebius Albert. They were formerly known as Kyau vs. Albert but changed their working name to Kyau & Albert in 2006. Zoë Johnston
Zoë Johnston is a Grammy-nominated British singer, songwriter and artist, born in Nottingham, England c.1976. She has written and recorded songs with a number of bands including Faithless, Above & Beyond, Bent, and Delerium, and also with former Beautiful South frontman Paul Heaton as part of his solo projects.
