Anita Soina
Anita Soina (24 December 1999) is a Kenyan environmentalist by passion and also water and climate change advocate from the Maasai community. She is the author of the book ''Green War''. Under the mentorship of Erick Inghatt Matsanza, the founder and Social Change Catalyst aSpice Without Borders a leadership academy for social change innovators and a member of the jury at thAfrica 40 Under Forty Awards Anita founded ''Spice Warriors'' an environmental organization at the age of 18 to help rally youths from all over to be environmentally conscious. She is also the founder of The Soina Foundation which seeks to address other social issues in the society such as sexual reproductive health education , GBV, WASH, education among others . Kajiado
Kajiado is a town in Kajiado County, Kenya. The town is located south of Nairobi, along the Nairobi – Arusha highway ( A104 road). Kajiado has an urban population of 24,678 (2019 census). Local people are predominantly of the Maasai tribe. Kajiado is the headquarters of Kajiado County. United Democratic Alliance (Kenya)
The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is the current ruling political party in Kenya. Their slogan is "Kazi ni Kazi" (literally: ''A job is a job''; All hustles matter) and their symbol is a wheelbarrow. The party, initially called the Party of Development and Reforms, officially changed its name to UDA in December 2020. The party became notable in January 2021, and is allied with William Ruto, the President of Kenya. It tends to be more popular among the Kalenjin people. The party fielded candidates in March 2021 by-elections. UDA nominated Ruto in the 2022 Kenyan general election, after he announced that he would leave the Jubilee Party in late 2021. Ruto picked Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate for the elections. 2022 Kenyan General Election
General elections were held in Kenya on Tuesday, 9 August 2022. Voters elected the President of Kenya, president, governors, Senate of Kenya, senators, members of the National Assembly (Kenya), National Assembly, and members of county assemblies. The Sanitation and Water for All (SWA) is a global partnership committed to achieving universal access to clean drinking water and adequate sanitation. In 2015, 2.4 billion people lacked access to improved sanitation, 946 million people defecate in the open and 663 million people lack access to basic water sources.
