Anita Bay Bundegaard (born 31 October 1963, in Tejn) is a former politician for the Danish Social Liberal Party. Between 1998 and 2000, she served as editor for the newspaper ''Politiken'', before going on to serve as the Minister for Development Assistance in the Cabinet of Poul Nyrup Rasmussen IV from 2000 to 2001. Tejn
Tejn is a harbour town on the north-eastern coast of the Danish island of Bornholm, south of Allinge-Sandvig. As of 1 January 2025, it has a population of 771. Initially a fishing village, it grew considerably during the 20th century as the harbour was enlarged on several occasions. The local fishing industry reached its peak in the 1970s and 1980s but has since decreased, with negative implications for the town's activities. Tourism The large harbour with both fishing vessels and pleasure craft is an impressive sight. As a result of its westerly location and the protection offered by the surrounding heights, it can be accessed without danger in all weathers. The post mill standing high above the harbour was built around 1800 in Årsballe but some 50 years later it was moved to Tejn where it continued to operate until 1941. Poul Nyrup Rasmussen IV Cabinet
After the 1998 Danish parliamentary election, the sitting Danish Prime Minister Poul Nyrup Rasmussen was able to reform the government coalition of his own Social Democrats and the Danish Social Liberal Party. The resulting cabinet, which replaced the Cabinet of Poul Nyrup Rasmussen III, was formed on 23 March 1998 and was called the Cabinet of Poul Nyrup Rasmussen IV.
