Animetal Lady Marathon
is the first album by Animetal unit Animetal Lady, featuring Mie of Pink Lady as the vocalist in place of Eizo Sakamoto. Released through Sony Records on February 21, 1998, the album consists of a non-stop marathon of metal covers of shōjo anime theme songs, children's anime theme songs, and other anime theme songs sung by women. A karaoke version of the album was also released on March 21, 1998. As with the first three Animetal albums, the cover of this album features a skeleton-like figure, which is a parody of heavy metal mascots such as Eddie of Iron Maiden and Vic Rattlehead of Megadeth. Also, certain songs incorporate instrumental arrangements of well-known rock and metal songs. For example: "Haikara-san ga Tōru" uses a bass line similar to Iron Maiden's "Wrathchild". Animetal
was a Japanese heavy metal band who specialized in metal covers of theme songs from classic and modern Japanese anime and tokusatsu television series. They were composed of several luminaries of the Japanese metal scene, most notably vocalist Eizo Sakamoto, who has been involved off and on with Anthem as well as participating in various other projects including the pop rock group Nerima, the JAM Project, and a successful solo career where he also plays lead guitar as well as vocals. ''Restless and Wild'' is the fourth studio album by German heavy metal band Accept, released in 1982 in Continental Europe and in 1983 in the US and UK. This manga follows the adventures of Sapphire, a girl who was born accidentally with a blue heart of a boy and a pink heart of a girl. She pretends to be a prince to prevent the evil Duke Duralumin from taking over the kingdom through his son, Plastic. The gender-bending main character was inspired by the all-female musical theater group Takarazuka Revue in which women performed both female and male roles. Gargoyle (band)
is a Japanese thrash metal band formed in Osaka Prefecture in 1987. The band was formed in July 1987, led by vocalist KIBA. After some changes in members, they started musical activities in earnest in November 1988. In April 1993, they signed for the major label Nippon Columbia, and released three studio albums (天論, 月の棘, natural) and two compilation albums (異人伝, borderless). From 1996, they went back to indie.
